Alcohol Oxidase

The addition of stabilisers:

  • Prevents inactivation during dehydration
  • Maintains high levels of enzyme activity for extended periods of time in the dry state at room temperature and almost indefinately ay 4°C
  • Results in increased accuracy and reliability of sensor readings

Alcohol oxidase is used:

  • In Biosensors to determine the alcohol content in beers, wines, saliva, blood and urine
