Horseradish Peroxide Dry Stability

The addition of stabilisers:

  • Maintains high levels of enzyme activity for extended periods of time in the dry state at room temperature and almost indefinately ay 4°C
  • Removed dilution instability problems after reconstitution
  • Prevents inactivation during dehydration

Horseradish peroxidase is used as:

  • The link enzyme for measuring H2O2 in test kits and biosensors
  • An enzyme label for immunoassays when conjugated with appropriate antibodies
  • The catalyst in H2O2 removal after sterilisation procedures
